Following on from the success of the inaugural event in 2010, 100AND10% was re-commissioned to lead the planning, marketing, sales and delivery for the second annual national conference for the Professional Players Federation.
The roles and responsibilities for 100AND10% included:
The second PPF national conference took place on Monday 17 October 2011, at the RHS Lawrence Hall, Westminster. Attended by over 180 industry professionals from the business world of sport, the one-day event generated heated debates and topical discussions on a number of current issues faced by professional sportsmen and women today.
Hosted by Garth Crooks, the conference consisted of a series of keynote presentations and panel discussions which addressed current issues. These included privacy and social media, betting in sport and the balance between commercial gain in sport vs. the role that sport plays within society.
The event attracted a fantastic list of speakers including premiership footballer Joey Barton, journalist for the Times Matthew Syed, professional jockey Hayley Turner, former professional boxer Barry McGuigan MBE and chairman of World Snooker Barry Hearn.
Chief executives from the LMA, PFA and PCA were also in attendance, alongside representatives from a number of sporting bodies including FIFA, the PGA and the Sports Betting Group.
The event attracted unsurpassed levels of media coverage across both digital and printed press, providing breaking stories across the back pages of the Evening Standard, the Daily Telegraph, the Guardian and the Times.
Breaking news was uploaded in real-time across a number of reporting websites including Reuters, Press Association, the Independent and the Daily Mail.
Live interviews were filmed and broadcast on both Sky Sports News and BBC news and sports websites.
Aided by the presence of key sports media reporters, the conference was also played out across Twitter. This included tweets from both Joey Barton and Hayley Turner.

Following the fantastic feedback from delegates, exhibitors and those involved with the 2011 event, 100AND10% has been asked to run the event for a third year running in 2012.
